Church Services

We invite you to join us for our Sunday services at
10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Our corporate pre-service prayer is located in the Forsythe Hall and is held thirty minutes prior to the service at
9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

We are located at 156 Street, Just South of Mark Messier Trail (14788 - 156 St, Edmonton, AB).

Please note that there are no Sunday evening services on long weekends.

ACTION

ACTION (All Church Teaching in One Night) is a mid-week program for all ages. Each Tuesday, September through April, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. a variety of programs are offered to encourage and strengthen believers in their walk with the Lord. The children have their own special programs and the adults join together in the sanctuary for Christcity Prayer.

Beginning January 17th, 2012 we are running a seven week DVD series for women called "Nurture". You must sign up for this series at the reception desk. The cost is $10 for the workbook.

Christcity AV

This ministry handles the multi-media, lighting, and sound technology at Christcity.

Ministry roles include:

  • FOH mixing (audio)
  • Stage monitoring mixing (audio)
  • Platform lighting operation
  • Computer graphic operation
  • Video switching
  • Camera operation
  • AV set up and teardown
  • And more…

Christcity Resource Centre

The Resource Centre serves to provide a variety of teaching materials, books, and CD’s that help individuals in their understanding of the Word of God. Volunteers are rotated on a once-a-month basis.

The Resource Centre is available following the 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. services, located at the Reception Desk in the Foyer.

Parking

The Parking Ministry serves to provide easy access for parking to visitors and members. This ministry also serves to welcome individuals attending Sunday services and special events / conferences / etc. Volunteers serve for the 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. services and are rotated on a once-a-month basis.

Shuttle Ministry

The Shuttle Ministry serves to provide transportation to individuals desiring to attend the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service. Volunteer Drivers help to pick-up and drop-off passengers and are rotated on a once-a-month basis.

F.I.R.E RACERS

F.I.R.E. Racers is a ministry with a strong desire to mentor teenagers in a unique way.

We are looking to gather solid Christian mentors (men and women) who love racing, teens, and grease… You do not have to know anything about mechanics or racing, but it would be an asset.

We gather interested youth from the community and Christcity.

Building confidence through relationship!
Showing these teens that there are people out there that do care about them!
Educating and teaching them a skill in auto mechanics, auto body work, and driving!

G.A.L (Go And Live)

This program ministers to the Edmonton Institution for Women.

The G.A.L program has been designed to incorporate both tangible and intangible life skills, as well as coping mechanisms, into a training program. With the necessary flexibility in its curriculum, G.A.L achieves optimum learning and community reintegration success.

Messages of Mercy

Messages of Mercy is a ministry for women willing to commit to writing a short letter, card, or inspiring note on an ongoing basis, to women who are currently in the Edmonton Institution for Women. We want to soften hearts to God's Word through this correspondence by adding Scripture and prayer to their lives.

Prime Timers (55+ Ministry)

Prime Timers is a ministry for those who are 55+ and are looking for community with others in their age demographic. The group comes together for times of fellowship and various events on a regular basis.

Venta Nursing Care Centre

Sharing God’s Word through devotions, music, fellowship and prayer to the residents of Venta Care Centre (13525-102 Street). Volunteers have an opportunity to minister there once a month on Sunday afternoons at 1:30 p.m.

G.E.M.S

Godly Empowered Mature Single – Ladies & Widows

A gathering for mature single women for fellowship and support. From potlucks and dining out, to leisure activities, movie nights, and sharing in song and Word.
